- Why a _notebook_ as opposed to a desktop computer? Unless moving it
- around is particularly important to you, you might prefer saving money or
- buying a faster computer, rather than paying extra for portability.

- Probably not a good idea to slow down your computer while connecting to
- internet, (especially if you pay the phone bill). Best multitasking is
- two computers, whatever OS you have! There are some good browsers and
- other WWW software for Amiga coming along now (at last), if you didn't
- want to multitask though. As for the appropriate speed, I would have
- thought that a 486 would be OK, esp. with cheap 486's at 66 or 100MHz
- (but most PC OS's like lots of memory, 8-16 MB), but best to ask on a PC
- newsgroup for their advice.
